About Michael Fryar

Michael Fryar, owner of Fryar Legal Services, LLC

Michael Fryar is a consulting  attorney focused on working helping clients with life decisions that impact their entire family. Michael’s background and education ensure that you and your family’s financial and emotional needs are included in any analysis and solutions.

He has worked with families to plan for marriage, assisted parents with children’s issues at school or Department of Children and Families complaints, has helped small business owners to realize lifelong dreams, and has assisted families going through the hardships of health issues, divorce and death.  Clients describe Michael as a “tough but caring” attorney who is interested in “the whole picture” and not just the immediate legal action.

Michael has represented clients in a variety of matters and has participated in over 300 mediation and arbitration sessions to resolution.  Michael understands the trauma and expense of litigation and will work with you to achieve your goals through paths other than expensive legal battles.

Michael Fryar utilizes his collaborative approach, along with his negotiation and mediation skills, to arrive at creative solutions to exceptionally complex problems.  His holistic approach to the situation ensures that all parties feel a part of the process and have a say in maintaining relationships even in adversarial conditions.

Michael is a proud member of the Modest Means Legal Network and provides representation on a sliding fee scale.

Michael sits on the Board of Advisors for Combat 2 Career, a non-profit assisting veterans in finding jobs.  He serves on the membership committee for the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  He is also a member of Divorce Solutions of Connecticut, a group of professionals focused on finding alternative paths to litigation.  Michael is a member of both the Hartford County Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association.
